Cahill Associates is an environmental engineering and planning firm specializing in Water Resource Management and Sustainable Site Design. Since 1974, Cahill has designed and constructed hundreds of stormwater infiltration systems, including the oldest installations of porous asphalt /recharge bed parking lots in the Delaware Valley region. Cahill specializes in Minimum Disturbance/Minimum Maintenance designs that respect the natural hydrologic cycle and include innovative stormwater techniques and wastewater approaches.

Cahill Associates has also performed numerous watershed and planning studies at a variety of scales, and we were the technical authors for the 2006 Pennsylvania Stormwater Best Management Practices Manual for the PA Department of Environmental Protection. Currently we are the lead technical authors preparing the Michigan Low Impact Development (LID) Manual for SEMCOG. We are actively involved in watershed planning studies in a number of states, including efforts to revise municipal and state ordinances for improving water resource and stormwater management.

Cahill Associates has been active in the Green Design movement, serving on the U.S. Green Building Council's Site Design committee for the LEED Green Building Rating System. We currently provide evaluation of projects seeking LEED certification for the US Green Building Council. Cahill Principals are frequently invited lecturers on the topic of Sustainable Site Design at conferences across the country.
